As it is an A2 level course, you should already have a basic idea of French or you must have studied A1 level of French from some recognised institution. Otherwise, I would recommend you to first follow up on my A1 level course, then come up to this course. You should be able to communicate in French using the same sentences and know how to write small sentences. You know have enough vocabulary to understand an easy level of French.
